The work order lifecycle
A work order moves through a defined set of statuses:- Open – Created but not yet assigned.
- Assigned – A user or team has been assigned.
- In Progress – Work has started.
- On Hold – Work is paused (for example, waiting on parts).
- Completed – The assignee has finished the work.
- Verified – A supervisor or manager has confirmed the work.
- Closed – The work order is finalized and archived in history.
Work orders can be created directly, generated automatically from PM schedules, or converted from incoming Requests submitted by tenants and occupants.
