Review incoming requests, comment, approve or reject, convert approved requests into work orders, and use filters and views.
Incoming requests land in the Requests queue as Pending. Managers review each one, discuss it in comments if needed, then approve or reject it. Approved requests are converted into work orders for scheduling and execution.
The Requests page offers grid and list views. Grid shows request cards with photos for fast visual triage; list is denser for working through a long queue.

2
Move it to Under Review
Set the status to Under Review so other managers know it is being handled and it leaves the Pending filter.
3
Comment as needed
Add comments to record your evaluation — for example, “Confirmed on site, valve is leaking” or “Duplicate of request #142.” Comments keep the review reasoning with the request.
4
Approve or reject
Approve if the work is valid and should be done.
Reject if it is a duplicate, out of scope, or not actionable, and leave a comment explaining why.
Check the queue for duplicates before approving. Several occupants often report the same visible issue — approve one and reject the rest with a comment pointing to the approved request.
Open a request in Approved status and click Convert to Work Order.
2
Review the prefilled work order
The work order create form opens prefilled with the request’s title, description, priority, category, location, and photos. Adjust the priority if the submitter’s choice does not match your triage, link the correct asset, set a due date, and add assignees.

3
Create the work order
Click Create. The request’s status changes to Converted to Work Order, and the new work order proceeds through the normal work order lifecycle.
The original request is preserved with its Converted to Work Order status, so you always have the intake record separate from the execution record.
Requests that sit in Pending erode occupant trust in the intake channel. Filter by status Pending daily and move everything to at least Under Review.
